—🚫 Ban on Chinese/Nylon Manja

Cyberabad Police have issued a strong public warning against the sale, storage, and use of Chinese or nylon manja, stating that it is a punishable offence under the law. Officials revealed that 53 cases have already been registered this year for violations related to banned manja.

Authorities have particularly advised two-wheeler riders to wear helmets and ride cautiously, as nylon manja has caused several serious accidents, leading to injuries and fatalities in the past.

Police also highlighted that nylon manja poses a grave threat to birds, animals, and pedestrians, often causing severe injuries due to its sharp and non-biodegradable nature.

🧵 Citizens are strictly advised to use only cotton thread for kite flying.

The Cyberabad Police appealed to the public to celebrate kite flying festivals safely, responsibly, and within the law, ensuring public safety and environmental protection.
