Hyderabad, August 31, 2026: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has adopted a new logo as part of a fresh visual identity for the civic body.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday officially unveiled the new GHMC logo, along with updated emblems for the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC).

The new logos mark a change from the civic bodies’ earlier visual identity and are expected to represent the newly reorganised municipal administration in the Hyderabad metropolitan region.

The unveiling was held on August 31 in Hyderabad in the presence of senior officials and representatives of the municipal administration.

The move comes amid changes in the municipal administration and the expansion/reorganisation of civic jurisdictions in and around Hyderabad. The new emblems are intended to provide a distinct identity to the respective municipal corporations.

The GHMC logo will now serve as the official visual identity of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, while the newly unveiled emblems will represent the CMC and MMC in their respective jurisdictions.

Further details regarding the design elements and the official significance of the new logos are expected to be released by the municipal administration.
