Telangana mein excise department ne nasha ke khilaf badi karwai karte hue ₹4.76 crore qeemat ka ganja destroy kiya hai. Deputy Commissioner Janardhan Reddy ke orders ke tehat, 47 alag-alag cases mein zabt kiya gaya total 953 kg ganja government-approved incineration facility mein nasht kar diya gaya.

Yeh ganja Khammam aur Bhadradri Kothagudem districts ke chhe excise stations se seize kiya gaya tha. Destruction process Thallada mandal mein maujood authorised facility par excise officials ki maujoodgi mein complete kiya gaya, taaki poori process transparent aur rules ke mutabiq ho.

Officials ke mutabiq, yeh seizures Khammam, Madhira, Palvancha, Manuguru aur Bhadrachalam excise stations ke jurisdiction se judi hui thi. Department ne clear message diya hai ke Telangana mein illegal drugs aur narcotics ke khilaf zero tolerance policy par sakhti se amal kiya ja raha hai.
