Revenue, Housing & I&PR Minister Sri Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has announced major reforms in the Stamps & Registration Department to make it transparent, corruption-free and citizen-centric, in line with the vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy.

Speaking after laying the foundation stone for an Integrated Sub-Registrar Office at Kukatpally in Medchal–Malkajgiri district, the Minister said the government is introducing modern, corporate-standard integrated registration offices in a phased manner. The first phase will cover areas within the Outer Ring Road (ORR), followed by district headquarters and constituency centres.

In the initial phase, 39 Sub-Registrar Offices across Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal and Sangareddy districts will be developed as 12 integrated clusters. Notably, these facilities will be constructed without any financial burden on the government, with builders responsible for construction and maintenance for five years.

Minister Ponguleti stated that the department is being transformed from a revenue-focused system into a people-oriented public service centre. He emphasized strong measures to protect the lands of the poor and government properties, strict action against encroachments, and assurance of fair compensation if assigned lands are acquired in exceptional cases.
