West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday made explosive allegations, claiming that coal smuggling money had changed hands and reached Union Home Minister Amit Shah through BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari.
“I have proof in pen drives,” the Chief Minister asserted, warning that she would make all evidence public if provoked further.
“Don’t irritate me. I will release all evidences stored in pen drives. Don’t cross the Laxman Rekha,” Mamata Banerjee cautioned, sending a sharp message to the BJP leadership.
The remarks are expected to intensify the ongoing political confrontation between the Trinamool Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party at the national level.
