District Collector Ashish Sangwan carried out a surprise inspection of the Tribal Boys’ Ashram School located at the district headquarters on Tuesday. During the visit, he reviewed academic activities, hostel facilities, food arrangements, and the school store room.
The Collector interacted with the students and sought feedback on the quality of food, accommodation, and other amenities provided at the hostel. He listened attentively to their concerns and suggestions.
In a gesture that boosted students’ morale, Collector Ashish Sangwan joined them in a friendly game of volleyball on the school premises, encouraging active participation in sports alongside academics.
Emphasizing the importance of all-round development, the Collector advised students to focus equally on education and physical activities. He instructed teachers and concerned officials to give special attention to students’ holistic growth.
The Collector also directed officials to take immediate steps to strengthen basic infrastructure at the Ashram School and ensure the delivery of quality education and better living conditions for tribal students.
