GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan has directed officials to ensure the swift and effective resolution of complaints and representations received through the Prajavani programme.
During the Prajavani programme held on Monday at the GHMC Head Office, people from various parts of the city submitted their grievances and petitions to the Commissioner. He personally reviewed the complaints received from the public and issued instructions to the concerned officials to take immediate action for their resolution.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner R.V. Karnan warned officials against any negligence in addressing public grievances. He instructed Heads of Departments (HODs) to work seriously towards resolving issues so that petitioners are not forced to approach offices repeatedly for the same problem.
A total of 41 petitions and complaints were received at the GHMC Head Office during the Prajavani programme.
Across 12 zones under the GHMC limits, a total of 168 petitions were registered.

The programme was attended by Additional Commissioners Raghu Prasad, Satyanarayana, Venu Gopal, Alivelu Mangatayaru, Pankaj, UBD Director Venkateshwarlu, CCP Srinivas, Chief Valuation Officer Rajinikanth Reddy, Joint Commissioner Tipparthi Yadayya, and other senior officials.
